Allison came to us in love--with both her fiance Nick and an overall look and feel. She wanted something rustic yet stylish, earthy yet elegant. She wanted warmth and comfort, and she wanted her guests to ooh and ahh as they stepped onto the terrace at the Denver Athletic Club that summer evening. She had picked a palette that was both neutral and colorful and wanted texture to play a big role in the design.

To fit with her desire for a rustic, vintage look and to appeal to her love of texture and layers, we wrapped the bouquets in burlap and overlaid them with lace. The buttons were a sweet finish.

For Allison's bouquet we chose garden roses, blushing bride protea, white Hawaiian dendrobium orchids, succulents, ranunculus, dianthus, and sweet peas in a palette of ivories, light aqua, peach and lavender. We absolutely loved the result, and, more importantly, so did Allison!

We went with similar but smaller bouquets for Allison's attendants. To add an earthy element, we used rosemary and lavender in the bouquets as well.

The guys wore stylish suits and dapper purple bow-ties, so we wanted something stylish yet subtle for their lapels. We used rosemary, lavender and an orchid bloom, and backed it all with a skeleton leaf.

We loved the king's table concept the couple wanted to use. We wanted to create a very layered look so we chose a number of containers for the tables. This tray vase was perfect. We filled it with a lush floral and planted succulents--a favorite of the bride's--in rice on each side.
